Just gettin round to fittin the plasma on the wall. Fitted the bracket to wall and other bracket bitty to plasma.

There is only 4 screw holes to fit the vetical bracket bit to the plasma although the richer sounds bracket instructions say there are six????

Looking at the design of these slider type brackets it looks like the plasma will slip down the bracket if you know what I mean. I cant see any other holes to fix too so it must be correct. anyone shed some light on this??

Also been reading about wall mounting on plaster board. Located one joist behined the plasterboard after all 18 screws were put in with rawplugs ie I've got 2 screws into wood. Dont think this is enough so will have to drill through the bracket metal work to get to the the other vertical baton/joist, there had better be one or im fecked!!!!!. My plasma weighs 43Kgs. cant think waht else I can do.

Any comments on any of the above appreciated.

    cheers.

The Hitachi wall brackets only attach to the screen with 4 screws as well.

it just seems like there is so much vertical weight pusing down on these 4 screws that they will eventually slip???

I've had my 42PD3000 on a wall bracket since last July and there's been no slippage.
