pcs and dvd recorders

    purchased a computer with dvd recorder etc, have noticed there are different dvd formats, what are the best to use and would the once only ones more likely to play on my arcam dv89 than the rewritable versions also where is the best place to bye the blank discs

    The type of disks that can be written by your recorder depend on the make & model. Some will write only +R(W) disk & others only -R(W) disk. But most these days will write both + & - disks. You do need to check.
