Hi, not sure if this is in the right section I just bought a PCI DVB-S card for my pc from ebay. The driver disk that came with it doesn't woork. I'm assuming it doesn't have 64bit drivers on the disk. I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit.

Is there anywhere that does generic drivers for these?
It has no branding.

This is the one I bought.

Nothing on there saying it doesn't support Windows 7 or 64 Bit.

Please Help:lease:

The link is out of date.
I suggest that you take it up with the seller, though the AVF Computer forum might produce some information.

There's nothing on there that says it does either. :D
The fact the image shows the 'designed for Windows XP' logo hints it's a rather old card that may no longer be supported or have 64 bit drivers available...

You should be able to identify the chipset used by looking at the card and Googling any numbers/codes you find on the larger chips, if drivers are available you should find them.

What it does say is:
OS supported: windows2000 for SP4 / Windows XP for SP2 ( Windows XP :
which makes it clear.

After a bit of a search I have come to the conclusion that card in question most likely has the SDMC DM1105 (or DM1105n) chipset.

This led me to finding the DVBWorld DVB-S PCI2002 Card which also has the same chipset and looks remarkably similar in terms of PCB layout. That card seems to have Vista 64bit drivers which should do the job......
