I have narrowed down the camcorders I like to the Sony DCR PC101 and the PC120. However, I just can't decide.

As far as I can tell the PC120 has a pop up flash, bluetooth technology (which at the moment is completely obsolete for me as I don't have a bluetooth phone or want to lash out on £280 for a portable bluetooth modem), and a better pixelation (is that a word??) on stills (1.5m compared to 1.07m).

Does anyone have any comments on either cameras. I can get the 101 for £798 and the 120 for £878 is the extra money worth it?

    Any comments very much appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Tim Culverhouse

    Thanks Duster,

That review was really useful. I'm going to buy the 101 due to picture quality and the fact that I don't want to shell out for a 1.5 mp still and flash in the 120 but will buy a digital camera for stills.

    Thanks
    Tim

Both of these models are going to be replaced shortly - the new models are expected to be better featured for similar money. May be worthwhile waiting for 3-4 weeks (new models out in June).

Thanks for that comment rags. However, my dad's 60th, my sister's 21st, my grandads 80th and my mother and father in laws 25th wedding anniversary are all in May. I really need a camcorder for all these events because they won't be happening again! - very much appreciate your comments though.

What is replacing the 120 and 101?

    Tim
