PC won't connect to internet on start up

Hi All

I am not sure if this the correct forum section for this?

I am having a problem with my desktop PC, running Window 10 and network adaptor (Virgin media broadband connection).

Every time, I boot up my PC, it doesn’t connect to the internet. I have to unclip the ethernet lead at the back and re plug it in, then it connects.

It’s getting a bit tedious now having to do this after every restart.

Any ideas?

Do the basics first, Turn your PC OFF, then turn the router off and wait 2 mins. Turn the router back on and wait 8 minutes, then powered up your PC.
If that does not help try another ethernet lead, they do fail.
After this you may want to try rolling back the network driver. Windows updates it in the background and sometimes it can screw it up.

OK many thanks for this. I tried the basics but no avail, I assume it to be the drivers.
