    Hi there,
    Looking for some help.
    I have a LG 32'' widescreen tv, and it has a PC input 640 x 480.
What DVD players can I use with this tv, using the vga input.
There is only 1 RGB scart, so I thought I maybe able to use the VGA input and leave the RGB scart for sky tv.
Also does anyone know if the picture will be ok or not.

    Thanks,
    Barry

    Hi Barry

I don't think there is any dvd player that has a vga output to connect to your LG vga input. However, some dvd players have progressive scan component video output that you can use with a transcoder to convert signals for your LG vga input. I never use one so I'm not sure how well it works.

I've got a Grundig 32" Xantia that has a vga input. I connect it to my HTPC @ 856x480 resolution and the picture is awesome. It is not as convenient as a standalone dvd player though.

If you have a pc nearby, you can try it for your self. Look at HCPC forum for more instructions as how to configure a pc as a home cinema.

    Cheers

    Piya
