I'm about to take delivery of a Media Centre PC with a TV card.

If the TV Card has an Aerial socket on it for my main outdoor aerial to connect it to but does not have an RF to loop it back to my TV does this mean that there is no way I can loop my my house aerial to both my PC and TV?

I also have a S-VHS recorded. So Ideally I would like to connect the aerial to the video - loop it to the PC TV Card- and loop that to me TV.

Do I just need some splitter adaptor for the PC TV Card?

I hope I am making sense. I don't want to reply on my media centre solely for the received channels.

A splitter should work IF you have a strong signal from the TV aerial - however, a better solution would be to use some form of UHF signal distribution amplifier with at least 2 outlets -1 to the TV and 1 to the PC card.

If you need to connect the VHS recorder, then connect it in the RF feed from the amplifier to the TV. but you won't be able to record on it from the PC Tuner card unless there is a SCART/S-Video output on the Media Centre which you can connect to the Videorecorder.
