pc to projector

    Hi can someone let me know how to connect a pc to a projector for a meeting, I know normally a laptop is used but would an ordinary pc be able to do instead, do I take the monitor off and plug that to the projector do I need special cable etc.

    Hi johnkay,

    You can use the same VGA cable as you would with a laptop. As you say, simply remove the cable from the computer monitor end and plug it into the RGB input on the projector.

    Remember that you will only be able to see the image through the projector if you do this, whereas laptops have the ability of sending the image to the laptop screen as well as to a projector.
