    Hi,

I have a panasonic plasma linked via s-video to my Yamaha 630RDS AV amp. All my existing inputs (PS2/SKY+/DVD) use the single SVIDEO to got to the plasma.

I recently invested in a media centre PC with DVI and VGA outputs.
As my cabling is all hidden behind the wall, I was wondering if there is a way to link the PC to the amp and still output via the single SVIDEO cable to the plasma??

I experimented with a graphics card with TV-OUT via SVIDEO but the image quality was shocking so i currently have a VGA cable doing the job bit would like to go back to my single cable arrangement.

Excuse my ignorance if there is a simple solution I have been out of the game for a few years, mainly because I kept spending too much dosh constantly upgrading my kit. ;)

    Many thanks in advance.

you will need to run a VGA or DVi cable (this is why you should run as many cables as you may ever need when doing this..... time to get your chisel out.... you can try and run some 5 core miniature coax in existing holes and Solder on 15 pin plug (tricky but possible)
