Just reading about some software called 'Panasonic dv 4.7 motion studio'

Anyone using this....if so, is it compatable with my DMR E60?
It might be useful to write DVD-RAM from my PC tp the Panny, as my PC will only burn -R.

Where can one find said software?

    Regards

    John

I think this came bundled with some Panasonic DVD/DVD-RAM drives. As far as I know, it is not available separately. It does allow a PC to read/write/edit/copy material on a DVD-RAM disc to and from a Panasonic machine. As I have found DVD-RAM recordings made on a Panasonic to be playable in the Toshiba RDXS32 and vice-versa, this software would now have even wider appeal.

Tabatha - without wanting to hijack this thread are you able to dub Panny DVD-RAM recordings to the HDD of the Toshiba (and vice versa)?

I have not tried all modes as the RDXS32 has many "user" rates but anything I have recorded on the RDXS32 DVD-RAM can be played back on the DMRE100 and vice-versa. And yes, a DVD-RAM recording made on the Panny can be dubbed to the Tosh hard disk and, again, a DVD-RAM recording made on the Tosh can be dubbed onto the Panny hard drive - It even keeps the Title info!

I have only tried straight recordings, I have not tried markers and chapters.
