First of all, I've used the search button, and couldn't find anything. My computer is upstairs, and the Samsung 56" DLP is right under it downstairs, and both are against the wall. I have a radeon 9800 pro all in wonder, so I could do a DVI to DVI. The problem I have is I need about 25 feet of cable, and I've heard that because of the distance, the signal would degrade, and the image not look so good. I'm trying to keep my budget under $200, or close to that. I found a DVI "repeater/booster" http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=15-118-501&depa=0 for $150 and need a 15 and 5 meter cable to use it. Can I use shorter cables? Is there a better solution?
