PC to Coax Distribution

Evening all,

I have a slight problem that hopefully someone may be able to help. I have a customer wanting to distribute 6 different PC's to 6 different tv screens throughout their premises. However the tricky part, to me, is that they want to be able to view all PC's on each screen. The only way around this that I can think of is to somehow run the PC's via coax and put each PC onto different channels so the customer can select which PC they would like to view. All PC's will be located in their comms cabinet.

I hope all this makes sense and somebody can help!

Many thanks in advance
Ben

Sounds like you need a KVM sysytem (Keyboard Video Mouse).
Google "KVM" and see what you can find.
You might even find 1 on Ebay.

you will need a 8 way VGA matrix switch this will allow you to switch any pc to any TV this can be done over VGA or Cat5 there are ways of sending over coax you would need to first provide hdmi outputs from pc then feed into hdmi over coax converter but will be very expensive. best way is VGA over cat5
