PC to 37PF9986

    Well, after some fiddling about with various settings I have managed to display normal Windows stuff on my 37PF9986.

    Great - now I can play some hi-def material from the MS WM site.

    No...

    I see everything BUT the video. The WM player stuff is visible but no picture, even though it is appearing on the laptop OK.

    Its got to be some obscure setting somewhere, but I don't know where.

    Any ideas?

    I've had the same problem, some media players that use the video overlay don't seem to like sending the picture out the DVI socket to a non-standard PC display.
    If you reduce the Hardware Acceleration from within Display Properties/Advanced you should see the video on the Philips.

    Some media players such as VLC allow you switch the overlay off from within the app and then should play the video fine.
