What are the best resolution settings and connection method for connecting a PC to a plasma screen for general PC work (web browsing, word etc.)? Is there any third party software available to imrove the quality even further? My plasma is the lg rz42px11.

I've heard that a DVI-D cable is the best way to go but wondered if the improvement is considerable?

Also, would a DVI-D cable improve/match the quality of a standalone DVD player connected via scart socket for viewing movies?

    Thanks.

    You will find 852 x 480 impractical for navigating windows and browsers, try either 1280 x 720 or 1024 x 576.
