The eMac is a great machine.

Fast G4 proc. Light and portable. TFT.

It's shipped with iMovie editing software, which should do you quite well I think. Or look at Final Cut Express.

Get Maxtor One Touch or Lacie External Firewire drives for extra storage.

A pioneer 105/6 in an external Firewire box would do you for burning DVDs

Someone may know if the eMac ships with iDVD?

Forest, my suggestion would be to get a mac. I bought a Power Mac G4 1250 mini tower to use just for video editing and am very happy with it. When I bought it, I also purchased the "Final Cut
Express" video editing software and it works great. I'm still learning how to use it, but what I've found it can do so far is pretty awsome. I've mainly used pcs for years so it took me a little while to get used to using a mac for the first time, but they're not that much different from a pc.
Anyway good luck on your decision.

    Tunesman.
