    Folks,

I am close to buying a 20-26" LC which I want to work as both a PC monitor and standalone TV. The inputs I have would be a standard VGA 15-pin d-sub (from an aging GeForce 440MX graphics card on an Athlon XP 2000+) and possibly a Sagem freeview box. This means that I am really only interested in the standard TV picture and also it's performance as a PC monitor (mainly for web browsing). However I am very used to working with PC's at reasonable resolutions (i.e. 1280x1024 on a 17" monitor) and am concerned that when I go to 1366 x 768 on a 23-26" screen it will look poor. I read on one thread that people have managed to get the ASDA dual model running at something like 1900x1200. Can someone clarify how this is done and whether any other models out there are capable of similar resolutions??

More specifically here are the models I think I am deciding between - can anyone comment on the best one:
    ASDA DUAL 26" - £495
    Samsung LE23R41B or LE26R41B - £509.99 & £629.99 respectively
    JVC (various models can't decide: LT-26D50BJ, LT-26A60S, LT-23D50BK, LT-23C50BJ)
