Has anyone played PC games or used PC applications on any 840x480 resolution DLP projector ( such as BenQ W100/Infocus IN72/Optoma H27 ) via DVI/VGA connector? How any of these type DLP projectors perform? Do they make feel that you really need a 1280x720 resolution projector in order to play PC games? For instance, when you set your PC resolution as 1024x768 or 1280x1024, and adjust your PC resolution accordingly, How these projectors response to these inputs and perform?:lease:

I'm gonna suggest (not speaking from personal experience) that it's not gonna be brilliant, it's going to be gaming in wide VGA and there aren't many PC games that are going to look decent or be playable in 640x480, A lot of games are 800x600 minimum afaik these days. If this is what you're mostly planning to do you might be better getting a 4:3 type presentation projector with widescreen modes, like an infocus X3

Thank you for reply, I have read somewhere there that 4:3 type presentation projectors do not provide good contrast and black level for watching movies.
Is it true?
