PC for Skype and online video

Established Member
Can anyone give me some advice please? I’m looking for a small PC solution to primarily use for Skype video and some online video. I was looking at something like this:

Play.com (UK) : Acer Aspire Revo / Intel Atom N230 1.6GHz / 2GB / 160GB / Vista Home Premium / Nettop Desktop PC (92.G1EYZ.UFP) : Computing - Free Delivery

And then was going to add a decent wide angle webcam on top of the TV so we can chat from the sofa, do you think I would need a microphone for ‘normal’ speech to be heard or get a webcam with one built in? Also is this a valid plan??
