PC for graphic art

Hi
I plan to build a pc which primarily will be used for graphic art programs, e.g. Adobe illustrator, photoshop & Autodesk Maya. these programs run fine on my laptop until you get into multiple layers, then its time to put the kettle on while it processes the latest command.

I'd like to keep the budget down to around £500 for the hardware but I need advice on a good motherboard & CPU combination. It goes without saying it will also be used for gaming so I'm also looking at a mid range 1024mb graphics card

I'd appreciate any advice on this and maybe a good supplier.

This should be everything you need and should give you a decent gaming performance assuming you already have a monitor.

You can also go from i5-2300 to i5-2500K for 20ish more for even better performance (and OCing).
