Anyone noticed that you don't seem to get any layer transistion pause with a PC DVD player. Do they have a read ahead buffer that external DVD players don't?

I have tried all sorts of titles and never a pause, even my 747a suffers a little.,

Yep - PC DVD Rom drives have a memory buffer that stops the layer change pause showing up :)
