Could someone clarify an issue for me. I'm looking to purchase a DVD recorder for my PC, thay all seem to have a minimum requierment of a Pentium III processor. I have a fairly good PC, 1.2mHz, pentium II processor. Are there any "burners" that will work with a Pentuim II???

dont you mean a celeron II ??

pentium II stopped at about 450Mhz.

If it is a 1.2Ghz celeron II you will be fine , i have put a pioneer 104 in a firewire case and have had no problems burning using my vaio laptop running at 500Mhz , so i guess you will be fine too.
