Hi

I was hoping for a bit of help with an anoying problem.

My Setup:

Samsung AVR710 Receiver
Asrock K10N78 Mb
AMD 7750 Dual Core
2Gb
360Gb Kingston
45" DLP

Im trying to get this whole HTPC sorted out and everything setup, have the 360 with optical to AMP and have DolbyD, Have Sky + to AMP and have DolbyD.

I can enable audio over HDMI in the Bios for my Mb and it uses the onboard Nvidia G8200 Graphics which goes into my AMP then out to the TV. No problems i have sound but i can only get 2 channel which my AMP sees as Dolby Pro Logic.

I have 5.1 setup in the Sounds config for Windows XP, If i play a DVD with DolbyD on WMP11 for instance it shows it up in the bottom corner but still only Pro Logic at the AMP. I have tried PowerDVD and i only get the option for Prologic in the menu or NEO6 which is pretty much the same. I thought i had all the drivers in okay but not sure now.

Other option i have is a Trust sound card which i have with Coaxial out but in that config i can only use the Coax out if i switch it to 2 Channel?? Not sure if that would be different if i connected the internal SPDIF headers from the motherboard.

Getting lost with this now so any fresh ideas would be great

Cheers
