PC & Docking station to single monitor

Hi Guys,

In relation to the title, my PC has a VGA & DVI-I output.
The laptop docking station has a VGA & DVI-D out.
The monitor has all 3 inputs - DVI-D, HDMI & VGA

My preference is to use either the DVI-D or HDMI inputs on the monitor.
I already have a Belkin KVM Switch but this requires the keyboard and mouse are also connected via PS2 which powers up the units. Both keyboards & mice are USB and the VGA will not work standalone.

I thought I had located the right products that will help but then i realised i may need a switch of some description to switch between the PC & Laptop.

What i thought was my solution is:

a. DVI to HDMI cable from PC
b. VGA to HDMI cable from docking station
c. An HDMI splitter from the monitor connecting the two inputs.

Your help would be most appreciated.
