pc 5.1 to optical converter

hi all, having tried a search i couldnt find anything to answer my question which is;

is there an adaptor like the one in the link but instead of converting to stereo phono, converting to optical? so i could plug my creative p5800 into my 360 or ps3?

Not that I know off, but it would probably just be easier (and cheaper) to stick in a PCI soundcard with an optical output, like this;

yeah thats fair enough buddy but i really like my audigy 4 (forgive me). it does have didgital in but u need an adaptor £24 (rip off) and even if i plugged my 360 into this it doesnt decode it in true 5.1 ive been on the creative forums and there seems to be a huge debate about this. seems to me im fighting a losing battle and would be better off with a new sound card. thanks anyway ill take a look at that trust one!

or how about some speakers with an optical input? any cheap suggestions?
