    Hi,

we're looking to get a PAYG sim card for data downloads for a Dell Lattitude tablet - looking at about 50Mb for a couple of months a year, but then between October and Easter, the sim card will not be used.

Looking to use the sim card across all UK networks, as the tablet is likely to be used mostly in places like the Forest of Bowland, Peak District and Yorkshire Dales, where traditionally there isn't a strong mobile signal.

Anyone any thoughts and ideas on the best products out there?

    Thanks
    Tony

Sorry, not sure how giffgaff run across all networks, when they say on their website that they run on O2 network :-(

You won't find anything like this, they use their network and that's it. You could order an ovivo sim and a samba sim, they are based on Vodafone and three respectively and offer free data in return for watching some adverts. Samba gives you 3.5mb for each ad watched but you need to earn the data upfront, ovivo just redirects your web browser to a brief ad that you can skip after about 5 seconds but gives you 750mb a month for it.

To cover all networks though you'll struggle. You'd have to have a sim for a network that uses each major networks infrastructure and chop and change as you need them.

The only way it would be possible would be to get a foreign sim (Rep Ireland, France etc) and roam in the UK, not cheap, but there is no such thing as a UK sim that would use all UK network signals.
