:D I used to like Paul in his Jam days (when I was a lad ;) ) but he's a bit tame for my tastes these days.

jam...obviously....stlye council....god help us!
funnily enough i only really got into his stuff after getting my av gear.
i was looking at what music type dvd's to watch on the big screen and got all the the later with jools stuff with a few of his performances on.
this led me to go out and buy stanely road having only owned wild wood up until then.

yeah i got this as part of the 'paul weller live' dvd, also featuring the hyde park gig.
the days of speed set was taken from another jools holland session and featuring noel gallagher as a guest gutairist/vocalist on thats entertainment (my favorite jam track, by the way)

I recently bought his "modern classics" compilation and was stunned by the recording quality and of course, the quality of songs he's written/performed. Should've re-acquainted myself with him years ago.

Is he releasing As Is Now on SACD or vinyl sometime???
