    Chaps.

I know that the vast majority of you are into the heavier stuff, but i thought i'd make a mention about this CD titled above.

This is a real cool collection of his tunes over the last 20 years.

It swings between Electro, Soul, Downtempo & Jazz with some superb production & keyboard demonstrations.

CD1 contains the monster '19' & his version of the classic D-Train Funk tune 'You're the one for me' together with the beautiful melodic 'Living for you' with Jackie Graham on vocals.
King Tut & the raw old skool sound of 'Swing' get an outing, as does the electronic cut 'Rainforest'

CD2 contains some real easy laid back soulful Jazz & downtempo edits which are perfect for those chilled out moments.
Great vocals, edits & production make this side a great windown choice. Track 2 'You may be gone' being a great example

If any of you have ever taken notice of Paul Hardcastle, i'd recommend this one without hesitation.
A much underrated producer & musician.

For the moment I thought you were going to say he had died.

Apart from Nineteen didn’t he write a piece of music that was use for Top of the Pops?

    Indeed so Garrett

    "The Wizard"

I suppose his other famous one would be the theme to the BBC's Holiday programme

Me thought so too, now if you had posted it Garrett I would have looked forward to your excellent obituary, looking at the dates he could have been Nuh..Nuh..Nineteen too ! :)
My favourite of his is Papa's Got A Brand New Pigbag Electrofunk Version.

For those who know/heard of Paul Hardcastle, they will know he is older than 20 years of age.

For those that don't, who cares!

Is 'Rainforest' on it? I loved that tune :)

Adz, you might like to hear the 2003 remake of 'Sweet Harmony' on the new Bonkers (Hixxy's set) CD. It's hardcore but still keeps the best bits of the original.

    JB

Yeah mate, Rainforest is on it & i agree with you, it's a class tune.

Liquid, Sweet Harmony is an old skool classic.
I particularly like the naff production quality which makes it sound like it was put together in a garden shed!:D

Will have to have a listen to that new version you said.

What tune did he supposedly plaigerise for 19? I can't think of anything similar...

    Tubular Bells :)
If you play them both on a piano the motif is almost identical.
