Passive XBox mod

    Anyone know any passive mods?, that 70mm fan is way to noisy, was thinking of changing the case but I don't think the xbox CPU has normal heatsink mounting holes, anyone know a way attatch a socket 478/775 heatsink to it? or perhaps a watercooling block?

    have you though about slowing the existing fan down ? I use the overide on XBMC to keep the CPU temp @ 55 , fan speed barely gets above 10%

    Mine slowed right down aswell. On one of my other units I swapped out the fan for a silent, I did need to dremmel in certain areas so it would fit though :smashin:

    Does anyone know the RPM and CFM of the standard xbox fan @ 12v? Thanks:D
