I have acquired a Panasonic Passive Sub Woofer and want to be able to connect to my Pioneer VSX930 AV. What do I need so that I can attach it to the AV?
Is there a powered device that can connect to the sub woofers bare wires and then into the AV?
It is quite a powerful Sub Woofer and I want to be able to utilise it in my setup.

Thats a speaker that comes with the all in one surround systems, it's not really a speaker to connect to your av amp.
Best to look for an active sub with internal amp.

That's what I thought deep down, it is a shame as it is a nice sub woofer unit and would fit perfectly. Thanks for your reply
