Have you got 2,000 years to spare? ;)

    Seriously, I don't know.
I only read Science Fiction, not Religious Fiction...

A lot of the film was incorrect, and really pointless.Following on from the film,he would have been unrecognisable(remember he died!) to them(his followers) at first,he remained for 40 days,on his final day on mount of Galiee he gatherd with a few hundred people to say goodbye, where apparently he assends in spirit form(remember he was dead) back to the heavens.

    Believe what you will.

All this movie does is follow the new testament. Its basicaly a movie reproduction (in Mel Gibsons twisted view) of the bible.

I am also not a religious person, but this film doesnt try to show anything new. Just trying to get the masses to care about the bible and christ.
Something thats been around for thousands of years.

The film was focused on violence and blood,he(Gibson) basically missed the whole point, making it pointless, waste of time, non factual, just exposed the brutality of the Jewish leaders and the Romans, didn't answer why he did it(Christ),and what would be the outcome, and what it meant,if your religiously inclined.Basically typical american hollywood style spin.

Couple too many slow-mo shots of him falling over for my liking but generally enjoyed it. But then I'm not religious in the slightest. Now, where's that lightsaber of mine...

    the violence was OTT.

I cannot believe anyone getting beat that much would still be alive to be crucified. I mean, all that beating and he still, what seemed, managed to carry his own cross for some of the way.

I must say I would love to travel back in time and check the real definitive version of events.
