Have just had one built but...
My requirements may be somewhat different from yours and so my solution (parts list) would not be the same as yours....
You could get (t least) two dozen parts lists from the people here and they would all be good and they would all be different.
Tell us your requirements and I bet there will be some similar solutions out there.
Not trying to be negative - this way will get the solution you need.
I was thinking more at helping people out who dont know where to start.
By getting people with there existing HTPC set up's to say what they have people can then build the same as them, safe in the knowledge that they will get a working HTPC at the end.
And then maybe they have someone to ask for advice if they encounter and problems when there building it..
