So I was at a local small high street waiting to get my hair cut at the barbers

I got a parking space right outside but it's only 30 mins.
It got me thinking whilst I was waiting to get my hair cut and seeing the parking attendance walking the streets, I understand the street parallel parking is limited to 30 mins. But would it count if I moved the car to say the next car spot in front to increase the time, or is it 30 mins against the parked spot, road, etc.?

The signs usually say something like psrking 30 mins, no return within 2 hours etc. so no, you can't move to the next space if the sign is like this.

If the bay you parked in has space for 5 cars then another bay starts dimy park in that bay and if the original bay has no return for an hour move to another further up until you start back at bay A.

You can move to the other bay just not roll forward when the car in front moves. They calculate your presence by all four car tyre air inlets/ nipples on your tyres.

If unsure ASK them, in BRADFORD they will tell you how to go about it.
