Hi guys just wondering if anyone here can help, I have an item coming from the US that was dispatched on 26th may via USPS, the item tracking states "Your item departed a transfer airport in Heathrow, London, UNITED KINGDOM on May 31, 2015 at 10:01 am. The item is currently in transit to the destination."

Since then, nothing has changed/moved. No customs charge form, nothing.

I have ordered from the site about 5 times beforehand and never had a problem, tried phoning royal mail and they was no use basically saying its not on their system.

Its around £50 worth of ejuice and like I say, never normally have a problem, getting a bit worried its been lost/stolen but have no idea who to contact.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Probably just sat in customs, you may not see a charge until they attempt to deliver.

The majority of US non courier parcels go to Parcelforce for delivery and not Royal Mail. I would give them a ring.

Have you tried putting the USPS tracking reference into Parcelforce's site? If they've received it, it'll be recognised and also give your their tracking reference.

Tried parcel force who said it was not a parcel for them from the tracking, royal mail said it was a parcel for them but hadn't been scanned onto their system yet. Customs said they don't give info out for parcels at all!

What did the company who sent it say when you contacted them?

To be fair they've been spot on and have sorted me out a store credit so I could order again but would still like to know where this parcel has gone to in case it happens again

If Royal Mail had received it, it should now be on the system.

However....we get a lot of US stuff with barcodes, some come to us as Special Deliveries but most just come through the system as normal. They're the exact same barcode format.

None of the U.S. Stuff we get needs a signature, we scan it and it just comes up as confirm delivery and that's it. So there's a possibility it may not show in the system at all until it's actually delivered or attempted, as that could be the first scan it gets.

Go to the sorting office and look in the customs charge shelf.
