    HI

Anybody here used one of these, and if so, how does it perform?

    Does it degrade the picture?

    Thanks, Gerald. :)

    Brilliant

I just got mine and connected it up. The joy of not having to scroll around the different formats with the RC.
The only pain was having to fumble around trying to get the RS232 cable into my Panny as it is wall mounted and you need a mirror on a stick to find the bottom entry socket. Some people might find the Panny's putting a short format reminder icon on the top left a bit disconcerting every time the format changes but it is a small price to pay.

    Hello Jet Jockey

The PARC209 is very clean and doesn't damage the signal passing through it.

The one 'feature' you have to watch out for is if you have your Digibox shared with another TV in another room and also have an IR extender in the second location - it gets annoying when your watching a DVD and the aspect ratio on the Plasma Display keeps changing as someone else in the house is channel hopping on the Digibox :)

    Best regards

    Joe
