Paramount are at it again. Now that you have bought the Star Trek films, and the Star Trek films in the 'limited edition' packaging, and then the Special Edition Director's Cuts, you can now buy the 9 film box set (not including the new film Nemesis)...

Presumably there will be a ten film box set next year! :D

You have to feel sorry for them, what with all that repackaging themselves - it must be so stress/cash-full. Lex, the next one will no doubt go out with all the fullstops as it's supposed to be the last Enterprise outing, well, that is of course until Archer's lot put one out of course...
For all its faults, I'd of actually like a Voyager one just to see what they could've done with big bucks - yeah I know, had Seven borg'd in some 'new' twist'

Totally agree never watched DS9 thought it was dull, did like next gen. And got very bored of enterprise. Voyager was great, they should have done a film.

    Now you've done it ....

DS9 rocked. For once the storyline seemed to be planned season by season as opposed to next gen where episodes stood on their own. Voyager had a thread running through the episodes but not with the same narrative zeal as DS9. The only SF series I want to own more than DS9 is B5 - now that really had a story.

oh no.. I'm not a big fan of Star Trek but you have to be kidding. DS9 actually had reasonable story lines, and decent characters. I did lose interest in it after a while, and the ending wasnt that good, but overall it was ok.

TNG - Wesley, Troi - need I say any more?
Voyager - everyone except the Doctor, and especially Neelix.
(Is it some sort of rule that SF series have to have at least one especially annoying character? Farscape (RIP) really could have done without Rigel)

DS9 was a bunch of people sitting around a space station, nothing ever happened! And some episodes of Next Gen look even more dated than the original series!

Voyager had a continuing storyline, some ok characters and plenty of action and of course seven of nine!!

    That would be sweet! :D

Personally Enterprise is my favourite series. I like the fact that they have gone back to basics - the problem for me with Voyager was that the ship was just so advanced that everything came too easily for them, even though they were stuck in another quadrant, they were always nice and comfortable (apart from time-travel & alternate history episodes! )

Star Trek will never end - in a thousand years time they will still be making films (as historical documents!
    :D )

I always preferred SeaQuest DSV myself

I found watching much of the Star Trek stuff (apart from the movies) to be a bit like [IMG]

ACME, A Company that Makes Everything.

DSN really was so dire they had to introduce a galactic war to spice it up and even then it was still boring, and then ending, what a letdown, I wanted carnage.
