my sons not back from holiday until after the olympics so I concentrated on paralympic ticjets. Going to the stadium for the athletics on the 6th and the blind football which my son wants to see on the 4th plus we get a pass which lets us watch any other events that are not full that day in the olympic park.

70 quid for 6 tickets in total

Hi,

Did you just keep searching 5-a-side and 7-a-side every now and then?

I was trying last night and this morning. Keeping an eye on the twitter feed as well.

Thanks

my mistake I got the 7 aside footie tickets and I remember the 5aside disapeared from view when I updated and couldnt get them..as if someones bought the, last ones just before me. The athletics tickets are not showing now either..

looks like it could be a sellout I bought my tickets last tuesday.

you could, buy an olympic or excel pass which entitles you to watch any sports at that venue that are not sold out. could get lucky and the passes are only a tenner

I've got atheletics tickets but I'm really hoping I can get a pair of swimming tickets, I nearly got them today before I got the "we can not match your request" screen

Are they actually on sale today?

Most comments I've seen are people buying tickets to events to get into the park. Not to watch the event that they have tickets for. :-(

I think that they should open the park afterwards so those who just want to see the park can. Allowing others to actually see events that they want to see.

Was that before the Olympics started?

Since the Olympics started it appears the rush for Paralympics tickets was on.

About a week and a half ago, they even had loads of velodrome cycling! Arghhhh

yeah I'm kicking myself as well, as all the events for the swimming etc where still there 10 days ago and for some stupid reason I didn't buy them on top of my athletics tickets

3.45 i went on and searched velodrome and nothing came up then i searched cycling tračk in events and one date came up then i chose my tickets and had to wait 7 8 7 6 8 and finally 2 then 1 minutes then it said no tickets available..searched cycling again 3 dates showed but had to take my son karate training so gave up.

join the paralympic page on facebook thats where i learnt tickets were available and people did comment they managed to buy athletics tickets and other sports too.

For anyone that is interested, LOCOG have just released 100,000 general access tickets for the Olympic Park for a £5 (note: no access to any competition, it is literally a park access ticket):

Just bagged a couple of tickets for Saturday evening.
Thanks

Snap

I was very keen to just see the park in all its olympic glory before they re-purposed it and dismantled much of the olympic specific stuff and temporary arenas.

So for just £5 this is great. Have a wander round for a couple of hours, and then go have a meal somewhere in Westfields after. :smashin:

I'm assuming the big screens will still be there, so I'll have a wander round, spend far too much money in the megastore, take in the atmosphere and catch some sport on the big screen. Fingers crossed the weather holds out!
Just glad to finally get a ticket to see the park in all it's glory. Once in a lifetime experience so got to make the most of it.

Jeez, it's harder to get tickets for this than it was the Olympics! A load appeared yesterday afternoon but then none were actually for sale, excluding the £5 park tickets.

do you still get a travel card for that price? if you do thats a steal.

if not and anybody wants 3 x travel cards for the 5th or 6th september then pm me with your address and i will pop them in the post.

i ended up 2 x tickets and travel cards them days and have some stamps so think of it as a gift. could save you upto 30 quid depending where your travelling from. if i knew i could still have my seat in the stadium i would send the spare tickets too but obviously...
