    Paradigm® | SUB 2 | Overview

Regarded by some as the finest commercial unit available, I originally purchased the Sub2 late in 2010 on launch. The Sub was replaced in April 2011 by a new unit (the fault on the old one could have been fixed by a firmware update, but due to this being a brand new product, my unit was replaced almost immediately). A beautiful looking cabinet that looks more like a piece of furniture, the sub2 houses 6 high performance 10 inch drivers and weighs in excess of 100kg.

Placed in a child and smoke free room, The sub is in gloss black and comes with all it's original documentation including instructions,Pbk kit, invoice and box. Sparingly used around once a week, this is a collection only sale for someone that desires that something extra special

Asking price is £6000 cash on collection..however i may consider offers which consist of a credit card payment and cash to cover the full asking price. The latter option is for those with decent trader feedback.

There have been no other Sub2s advertised here previously and because of the nature of what it is..I'm not going to be taking any substantially lower offers, which I sometimes entertain.

    Thanks for looking.

I really wish I could afford this sub, all the reviews quote it as being the best commercial sub ever and your sub is pristine too, a couple more years and I would have been ready, nevermind have a bump on me,

Can't believe there's no love or interest for this sub. I wonder if they'd be more interest if I could take credit card payments! :)

problem is I am sure it is a great sub but it costs more than most folk spend on their entire HT extension!

    Unfortunately I don't have any credit facilities:laugh::smashin:

It's a sub which won't be for everyone due to the cost. But it will appeal to people that are looking to make a significant investment in a statement product which perhaps they couldn't push the boat out to at its brand new cost (£9,995) but as a fine used example with a much reduced price is more feasible:thumbsup:

It's not a great sub, it's an amazing sub, I've heard it.

It's a lot of lolly yes, but it would pay you this back in smiles within weeks.

    Awesome!

    I can't either Asif.
Come on guys. I've just ordered the Sub1 at £5K. If I had another £1K I would have gone for Asif's Sub2 without hesitation. Its a bargain price for a Sub2!
Anyway Asif have a bump and good luck.

Hi Gary, that's pretty much bang on. The Genelecs are the latest B design and for those that arnt aware are a true bi-amplified powered monitor. I heard an lcr setup at a friends and in my opinion they beat the Mk s150s- in all areas. Infact they are a more substantial speaker than the s150..but as a true monitor, not a lot of folk have heard or utilised Genelecs in a cinema room on avf, which is a shame as they are right at home in that environment:thumbsup:

I love the look of the Sub2 and would be very interested but the timing is off for me.

If I can shift a few bits of kit myself I might be able to get the funds together in the next couple of weeks.

Out of interest what on earth are you upgrading to?!

    Hi Hari,

I'm moving to an active setup and would be looking to purchase a sub I could fit behind the screen as that's where my LCR speakers will be going..that's the only reason I'm selling as I'd struggle to fit the sub2 in:thumbsup:

are they black or white? have a bump.
They are awesome active speakers and the only brand I really consider when looking for them (but I have my fair share already).

They're the black (which look more like a speckled dark grey). The only reason I'm selling is due to a last minute change of budget..and I'm having to spend atleast 5 x per speaker at the front to better the performance. These are ace speakers:thumbsup:

    Morning bump!

Will look into the feasibility of a part/full credit card payment from any forum members that have a decent trading history :)

    Hi Asif,

What sort of money would you be looking for in part payment on the CC ?

I'm seriously interested but wouldn't be able to find that sort of cash unless I took out a loan :)

I have my trader rating here plus over 700 positives on EBay

Hi Steve, im open to offers of x amount on card and x amount cash. I'd still be after the full asking price, but obviously it's not practical for everyone having that in cash. So if someone wishes to offer x amount via credit card and x amount cash..that's something I could look at. The credit card payment wouldn't come to me though, it'd go to a retailer and as such there maybe a 3% fee on the credit card payment. I'd have no issues dealing with yourself though!

I've just installed and set up my Paradigm Signature Sub1 and it is simply the best and most accurate bass I have ever heard from a single sub.
God only knows how good the Sub2 must be. If I had the funds the Sub2 would be mine but then again the Sub1 is leathal. How can such compact subs produce such mind blowing detailed bass is beyond me.
Asif, your Sub2 is a veritable bargain mate and I can't believe it hasn't gone as it is an investment that will last for many years to come as it can't get any better than that.
