I am seriously considering this sub, for 50-50 use with music and movies. It is said to be a bit crap for music, but I was wondering if anyone has tweaked/moved it to make it sound complimetary to their system for music?

    My system:
    Sony DVP-NS300 DVD Player
    Marants SR6200 Receiver
    Wharfedale Diamond 8.1 Rears
    Wharfedale Diamond 8.3 Fronts
    Wharfedale Diamond Centre

You need to send a PM to Spectre (the Adminstrator) to see if he´ll change it for you, only he can.

The Paradigm isnt bad for music it just needs tweaking. The best thing to do is place the sub at your listening position, play some music with decent bass, then wander round the room to find where the bass sounds the tightest and deepest (or the best to you!!), when you find the spot, place the subwoofer there. Its also worth playing around with the phase as this can make a bit of difference to the overall sound.
