I currently own a Paradigm PS1000 but the wife thinks it is too big. Would the smaller REL Quake match the Paradigm in terms of performance?

about =. but the rel is to much cash to spend on what u get.
    try the m&j or B&W sub,s
but u could probable swap the 1000 with a 2200 or a servo 15 without the wife noticing:laugh:  :smashin:

just noticed u were talking about the quake it that case imo i think the 1000 is a better sub.

    so
    1000 is better than quake
    1000 is = 2 rel150
Mj& B&W are beter than 1000 but pricey
2200 servo 15, fab but as big and bigger than 1000, but not so she would notice it

MJ ref100 - can be bought for under £350

demo'd against a Quake, and used to own a PS1000 a few years ago.

doesn't have the unsubtle wallop of the PS, but musically and timing wise it leaves it for dead.
