    Hi everyone :)

After much reserch and extensive reading and advice from this Forum I am conviced and converted. The Pany PWD6 is the Plasma for me.
Unless you all work for Panasonic that is

The Question is now where to buy from?
Ideally I would like a SCART board and stand for around £1650 max.

    I have seen WebElectrical.co.uk

Does anyone have any experience with this retailer? I like the nothing to pay for a year option. Can anyone beat there offer?

Richer Sounds are offering the PWD6 for £1,500 but with no SCART or Stand.

Many thanks for all your help and advice so far

on Av-sales.com, they have a special offer on now but running out of them. I'm thinking of getting one myself thanks to this place.

    Edit: Added Link

    http://www.av-sales.com/plasma/html/panasonic_th-42pwd6_plasma.html

Plus these guys seem quite respected here for their customer care and service.

Update : They are now out of stock( There were 29 on friday) :suicide:

: kicks himself for being so slow :

Mine was bought from AV Sales.

I dont work for them and I haven't been to the shop.

Ordered by telephone, as I wanted advice on a couple of things.

They actually saved me money on extras I didn't need.

It might be a little bit more expensive than the others but you only be talking a few pence I think, but it is good these days to deal with a team that aren't just trying to sell as much stuff as they can for as much as they can.

Since it's nearly Xmas, I gonna say thanx also to Joe and Gordon other retailers, who contributes on this forum, and are willing to share there knowledge with the rest of us.

I'm sure they must get fed up with the repetative questions that come up on the forum!!

God I'm never nice to people!!!

I don't work for Panny although I'm very happy with my PHD7 :)

AV-Sales are good, speaking from personal experience. Check out their prices, they do include a stand, card and delivery in the price. Not too sure what the supply situation is like though.

I ordered a PWD7 from web electrical last week using the 0% offer, and I will be getting the screen this week.

Can recommend av-sales. Excellent pre and after sales service.

With a piece of equipment this expensive, it's important to be sure that if any problems arise they will be dealt with. You can have that confidence with av-sales :smashin:

Btw, I don't work for them, wish I did, might be offered staff discount :D

Hi everyone thanks for all your replies.

AV sales have ran out of stock or I would have bought there and not asked such a repetitive question to upset .

So need advice on where to go next. Let me no how you get on Ken. Like I say there 0% offer appeals to me.

    Mickey,

I got my PW6 from NexNix in the summer and would recommend them. I ordered mine at around 3.00pm and they couriered it overnight for free and it was with me at 10.00am the next morning.

They are doing a deal on it at the moment with a choice of free board or a JS Technologies RGB Scart-Plasma VGA Converter with 2m Scart & 2m VGA Cable.

    Dave.

Great news and great customer service but AV-Sales have rang me back.
I just missed out on the last one then a customer decided to go for the PWD7 instead.

They must of gone fast from AV Sales. I ordered mine yesterday and they said they had about 12 left. Looks like I got mine by the skin of my teeth.

There's plenty still in distribution guys, but nobody wants to buy a load cos we don't want to be stuck with them, forced to sell off at a loss. Got hungry mouths to feed and all that. No problem to get hold of, that's where all the web guys are getting them from.

There were 26 yesterday and 3 this morning at 9 then none this morning by about half past!!!

Thatnk goodness someone wants the PWD7 as so didn't take the PWD6 or I would have been looking somewhere else and somewhere more expensive

Andrew from AV Sales Sorted me out. A nice fella with time to take your order and not just offer you the most expensive thing (IE decided I only needed two SCARTs as opposed to the 3 I thought I needed) :)

Glad you got sorted Mickey, but just so you know, I had a call half an hour ago from Web Electrical, to say they would be delivering my screen, between 11.30 and 1pm toworrow; they use their own drivers, which is good news.
Now, I just hope my wall mount arrives am and not pm.
