Panny TH50PX60 and Xbox 360

Standard Member
Sorry if this is a bit of a Noob question.

I have just set up the HD DVD 360 through the VGA of the Panasonic TH50PX60. Watched Harry potter. The quality seems very good even with the settings down low due to me wearing in the TV.

However I have tried through the DVD settings, the Xbox Settings, and the TV settings, however I can only view the film with the black borders top and bottom. I know some people will moan at me that this is so it is true widescreen, however my personal preference is when the picture is stretched to fill the whole screen.

If i remember right, when I connect it via componant I could do this.

Anyone got any suggestions

My Bad. Sorry. One should always search properly.

Found the answer.

However another one.

If I am forced to watch the movies widescreen and I have a new telly (plasma) should I be wary for the first few weeks about burn in around the borders.
