I have this set and HD is fine on it. I keep the HD box set to 1080. One thing to check is that you are definitely using the HDMI channel, and that it has not set itself back to "dynamic" mode, which seems to be the default - personally I like the cinema mode, and play around with the base setting from that starting point.

And double check you are actually watching an HD programme.
Just because you are watching an HD channel is no guarantee it is a HD programme. This applies to Sky Sports, Sky One, Artsworld.

Sky Movies HD are all HD, so is Nat Geo HD and Disco HD.

I too have this set and sky hd and since replacing a samsung le32r41bd i think this set is superb with sd and hd.

I have my tv set to cinema mode and sky at 1080. I have taken the sharpness up one notch from default setting which i wouldn't normally do but since it adds no picture noise i decided to.
