Panny th42pw6 or Tosh 42pw37

    Thinking of buying Panny TH42pw6 or Tosh 42pw37, are they the same plasma display rebadged.

    YEs they are. IIRC Toshiba has a two year warranty instead of one, and the Toshiba always comes equipped with Scart, Component and SVHS/CVBS boards.

    so does that mean that its a better buy than the panny ????

    Somewhere near the M4 most of the time......

    depends on the price panny with boards and warranty gonna cost you £2150 ish from AV-sales....... So if Toshiba is significantly less it may be a better buy. However if you wanted DVi input, and no others with tosh you get panel with all slots full and have to take one board out to put DVi board (that costs you extra) in...... depends on price of Tosh.....and what you want to connect

    d'oh horny beat me to it! only better if same price and you don't intend to upgrade to DVI.

    is it worth having the dvi option if i dont intend usung it at present ?

    Thanks for info. Panny costs £1678 with no boards and Toshiba costs £1799 from Richer Sounds which do you recommend buying.
