Panny TH42PE50 +DVD+Sky+Xbox ..connections ?

Hi Everybody

I would just like to say .. this is the best forum on the net in regards to electronics ...

After reading alot around the boards i bought this setup:

Panny TH42PE50
Panny SCHT840
i already owned the sky box and the xbox(modded)

see my plasma mounted in a strange location

So now to my newbie questions...

How should i connect these items to the Plasma so that i get the most out of the components ??

like for example i go to this site and click component and get all these cables and i just dont know what to pick

Basically, an 'ordinary component cable' would be the top one, with the same type of cable but of a higher quality right at the bottom. Both these use RCA (phono) connections which is what you probably need (can't see what the exact connections are on the products you listed as the panny site isn't very informative).

So I'd go like this,

DVD - Plasma = one of the components cables mentioned above.
Sky - Plasma = Fully wired scart (using RGB)
Xbox (modded ?) - plasma = Scart (using RGB) (if you only have 1 RGB scart on the plasma, daisy chain through Sky)

If you have a spare component input use an Ixos XPX04 for the Xbox.

Yeah that's a good'un, although the last time i looked at those Ixos console cables, they didn't have an optical output, guess that isn't relevant to hostage though.
