panny TH42PE30B. should it remember settings?

should this unit remember all my settings in picture and audio.

as recently weve had a couple of power cuts and the options have all been reset to there standard settings.

not a big fuss but as you know you do get it just right to watch them there gone

I have the same tv as yourself, and yes it does remember its settings. However, I think I have read here if you venture into the engineer's menu, it sets itself back into dynamic mode. Also if the remote is knocked and the n is pressed all the settings return to their presets.
