panny th42pe30b - help! 480i/p, 720 etc

    Hi,

    Does the panny th42pe30b support 480p? obviously is supports 480i. does anyone know what others it supports.

    I've spent the last hour searching with no lick!!

    480i/p, 576i/p and 1080i via component (same for VGA +perhaps another couple)

    thanks, also what happens if I connect a source 480i signal - will the tv automatically convert this to progressive scanning or do you need to choose to do this? cheers

    The Viera is a progressive display device, it will convert (de-interlace & scale to native res of 852x480) all supported interlaced signals into progressive before displaying them.
