I have Panny 6 which is supposed to be similar internally to the PA20, and have been very pleased with it.

Others on the forum recommend the Hitachi's, but I have recently seen them and don't think that they match the Panny. Probably worth demoing both if you can.

The only plasma I would prefer to the Panny is the Pioneer 434, which is a lot more cash, and IMO only a slight improvement in PQ.

    Good luck!

If you want an analogue TV it's one of the best, though these things are a matter of taste!

PW6 and PA20 are same panel, PA20 has video drive from PD30 range Speakers, scarts etc a proper telly, very nice unit. PW6 is a screen that you can connect to via scart, YUV etc

If you already have a sound system, and freeview works where you live, then the PW6 route is cheaper and some think better, but not so easy to connect to all your components. Nothing wrong with the PA20 though, speakers no better than any other TV, and analogue TV not too good on plasmas IMHO, otherwise, good toy.
