Hi all, can anyone tell me does the panny TH-42PWD6 support progressive scan data if I install a component input module?

I intend to use a panny DMR-E55 prog scan DVD player/recorder with component out.

    cheers spook

You can send Interlaced or Progressive YUV to a PWD6 via the HD15 VGA socket or a TY-42TM6YB or TY-42TM6AB board.

If you send the display Interlaced YUV you can use the Cinema mode to improve PAL and NTSC source material that was originated on film and if you send the Display a Progressive signal you'll get to see what the processor in your source device is up to.

    Best regards

    Joe
