I'm looking for advice regarding setting up my plasma with a HTPC. On occasions that I have connected my laptop and desktop computers (both windows 2000) to the plasma, it seems to default to 60hZ no matter what refresh rate is selected. I know that this has been mentioned in previous threads but was hoping for an update as to whether there is a method of getting the screen to lock to 75hZ or above. Normally the picture is quite stable on the 42HD, but with VGA input it has a noticeable flicker.
Secondly, I'm looking at purchasing the dvi blade and would like to know if anyone considers this a better option compared to RGBHV for video signals (ie. dvd player). Also, is there any noticeable flicker introduced with dvi when being fed a computer signal or PAL video signal?.
