    Hi,

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but couldn't find any threads by searching!

Does anyone know when the hi-def 6 series Panny 42" Plasmas will be available in the UK? I can't get a concrete date out of any dealers!

    Thanks for any info!

Panasonic in the UK will have limited availability from Mid September - very low numbers to start with (and please remember this is not a 'Consumer' product and will have limited availability through the AV dealer network).

I know I have one or two confirmed orders and I guess a few of the AV Dealers will also have orders to fulfil so getting one is gong to be pretty tricky for the first couple of months.

    Best regards

    Joe

    Joe,
I assume that as this is not a 'consumer' product it will be only available in wheelie-bin grey.

Oh well, maybe I could use masking tape and a spray can of car paint !

    Thanks for the info,

    Steve

Yes available in any colour as long as its Charcoal grey - though we do supply 'slip over' painted bezels in Silver, Black, White or bare and you paint it yourself.

oreboy - I should have a PDF in the next day or so.

    Joe

PS Cost for the slip over bezel is around £350.

    Joe,
I have to ask, will the slip-over bezel not look a little odd over the top of the existing one ?

I look forward to the specs on this, if the contrast is similar to the series-5 HD, I may have to reconsider as nothing looks as colourful and bright as the series-6 SD panasonic.

    Thanks again,
    Steve.

The slip over bezels are 3mm laser cut steel with a high quality baked on paint finish and look excellent. Drop me a note and I can forward you an image or two.

I must admit I was sceptical but we've now supplied a couple of these and so far they've had the thumbs up (even from those who dictated the displays had to be Silver - you'll know WHO I mean!!!).

The slip over bezels have cut outs around any logos and buttons and dont have any detrimental affect on your display warranty; they can be installed and removed in about ten second flat.

    Best regards

    Joe
